Not a lot there to get excited about!?
Lets hope there are much better things to come .
Otherwise he is an expensive luxury !?

    1. Not many rockets 🚀 amongst that hefty workload as Notts X referred when announcing he’d signed a new one-yearer
England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 would have been coughing up 🆙 for his wages whilst The Rolling Stone was centrally contracted but now…….
Nobody wants to be injured and you have to feel a bit sorry for him from that point of view as he could possibly have had a decent international career but clearly he is nowhere near the version at Northants of yesteryear and it’s understandable why with all that time on the treatment table
What did Tommy Docherty once say of one of his players ? “ He’d get injured going on A Question 🙋‍♀️ of Sport”
I suppose if he could somehow say fit for any length of time, he would still offer something to the squad over the 2 formats he plays as Josh Tongue’s availability will presumably be limited again for us next season

YES - some players are fragile and seem to pick up injuries every other week . Others nust turn out and perform year in year out . Our dear old friend was a perfect example . Hardly missed a match for 10-15 years and trained hard eating pizzas and kebabs .
Veteran football Manager Don Revie once announced that one of his “ delicate” players got injured playing tiddywinks . I think Brian Clough once complained there was a 50% chance of Trevor Francis spraining an ankle by crossing a busy road!
For some players its easier to leave the field for treatment rather than carry on and get stuck in .Remember Notts ccc vital match towards seasons end when Josh Tongue bowled his heart out over after over and helped Notts achieve a vital victory . He was so knackered and exhausted at the end he vitually had to be carried back to the dressing room by his grateful team mates.
Bottle - thats what you need when the chips are down
    Some players have it
    Some dont
