2025 Nottinghamshire members will be able to take in First-Class cricket at seven other counties free of charge next season, as part of reciprocal arrangements.
Valid membership cards will entitle members to free entry for County Championship fixtures at Somerset, Essex, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Hampshire and Lancashire (Emirates Old Trafford only), excluding when Notts are the visitors.
This arrangement will not be available at Emirates Old Trafford for members who live within 15 miles of Lancashire's headquarters. It is recommended, therefore, that members take proof of address along with them.
The Metro Bank One Day Cup Final returns to West Bridgford for the fourth time next week, with Glamorgan and Somerset preparing to battle it out on the Trent Bridge turf. [this could be our last one]
After a nail-biting thriller between Leicestershire and Hampshire last year, the impending final promises to be another cracker, with both sides putting together formidable 50-over campaigns so far. [we chose to treat the competition as a "development competition" and so were never competing on a level playing field]
The two go head-to-head on our turf on Sunday 22 September, and as a member, we'd love to count on your support, in what will be the one of the last hurrahs of the 2024 domestic season. [It's a long way from Somerset and South Wales and the weather in mid-September can't be relied-on, so we reckon we've sold as many tickets to the supporters of those counties as we will ever do, so we need locals to come and sit on a few seats to make a better impression to those watching on TV]
Members can enjoy tickets at the best price of £24, whilst you'll also be able to soak up the action from the members-only area in front of the Pavilion. [before we take wrecking ball to the area]
Dear member,
As the final fixtures of the year draw near, we would like to thank you for your steadfast support of our club this season.
Looking ahead, we can now confirm membership and international ticketing details for the summer of 2025.
As you may have seen, we will welcome England’s men and women in red and white-ball formats, for:
- A Men’s Test against Zimbabwe, from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 May;
- A Women’s IT20 against India, on Saturday 28 June; and
- A Men’s IT20 against South Africa, on Sunday 14 September.
Nottinghamshire memberships for 2025 – along with tickets for 2025 members and their guests for all three international fixtures – will be placed on sale from 10am on Friday 6 September, via tickets.trentbridge.co.uk.
As we begin to prepare for next year’s fixtures, we do so with the proposed development of our Pavilion very much front of mind.
Planning permission was approved a few months ago, and we are currently working through the finer details, but hope to commence the project in earnest this Autumn.
Should we be able to proceed, all of our spaces across Trent Bridge will come under intense pressure, as we must find appropriate facilities for players and match officials so we can fulfil our international and domestic fixture schedule.
In addition, the ongoing construction work would leave us unable to offer member seating or facilities in the Pavilion for the whole of the 2025 season.
However, with this eventuality in mind, we have set aside an adjacent area of seating in the lower tier of the Hound Road Stand to be used exclusively by Nottinghamshire members during 2025 international fixtures. Seats in this area will be available at a lower price point, in line with our usual Pavilion seating pricing.
Should you wish to sit with non-members, 2025 members will be able to secure tickets for themselves and up to five guests across the rest of the venue during the members’ priority window.
We will also ensure that the Derek Randall Suite is available to all members during scheduled domestic fixtures for Notts and The Blaze, mirroring the provision usually found in the Long Room. However, pressure on all of our facilities around the ground will mean that the suite will be unavailable during international fixtures.
This will undoubtedly be a challenging period for us all – members, supporters, players, officials and staff – as we coexist alongside any construction works.
However, the resulting redevelopment is crucial as we seek to preserve the Test match status that we hold so dear for the long term.
With double-headers now a regular occurrence, our ambition is to deliver world-class facilities for both men’s and women’s players and officials. We are also determined to enhance our offering to meet the evolving expectations of members and supporters.
Your support will be crucial as this project continues – and with this in mind, membership prices for the 2025 season have been frozen.
If the redevelopment schedule is significantly delayed, we will of course seek to restore Pavilion access for members wherever possible. This will include the relocation of our members’ seating area for international fixtures to the seats in front of the Pavilion.
Our international cricketing calendar sees us welcome Zimbabwe to Nottingham for the first time in 25 years, for a significant fixture in light of efforts to forge closer relations between the two competing sides.
Test Match cricket can only thrive in the long term if as many nations as possible retain their red-ball ambitions; for Zimbabwe to be travelling to England to compete in Tests is hugely positive in this regard.
Our IT20 between England and India sees two of the best teams in women’s international cricket go head to head. Having welcomed record-breaking crowds to our home for the Women’s Ashes and Trent Rockets’ women, and with The Blaze to remain part of the Trent Bridge family as the ECB’s new structure for the domestic women’s game comes into force, this is another milestone moment as our support for women’s cricket continues to gather pace.
Our men’s international white-ball contests have provided many a memorable moment in recent years, and we hope for similar as England and South Africa round off our summer on the world stage.
Your support of our international schedule will ensure that we are able to provide our world-renowned welcome for all competing nations, and leave us in the best possible shape for the seasons to come.
Club Announce 2025 Membership Prices
22 August 2024
Leicestershire CCC can today announce Membership prices for the 2025 season ahead of next week’s Early Bird on-sale window.
Memberships for the 2025 season, which are to launch on Thursday 29 August, will see a host of new and exclusive benefits, as well as the addition of Tier Two Women’s cricket to the Uptonsteel County Ground calendar.
The Club will continue its range of flexible Membership options including Club Membership+, which includes all seven Vitality Blast fixtures at Uptonsteel County Ground, and the popular White Ball Pass, featuring ten T20 and One Day Cup matches.
Foxes fans have witnessed a significant improvement on the pitch in recent seasons, with Leicestershire winning the Metro Bank One Day Cup in 2023 and assembling a promising promotion push in the Vitality County Championship as we reach the climax of the 2024 campaign.
The rise of homegrown heroes, such as Rehan Ahmed, Josh Hull and Alex Green, combined with international stars such as Peter Handscomb, are all set to light up Uptonsteel County Ground next summer as the Foxes push for further silverware.
Early Bird Membership window, which has been launched earlier this year to provide huge savings during the season, will run until Tuesday 1 October.
The Club has also made the difficult decision to implement a single pricing category adults, incorporating young adults and seniors into the same band as a regular Adult Membership. Junior Memberships remain FREE, while Junior White Ball Passes begin from just £30.
Ticket pricing for the 2025 season has been carefully considered in the context of ongoing economic inflationary demands, a strain shared by both Club and supporters. Leicestershire CCC continues to strive to ensure its pricing remains competitive and reflects value for money with the quality of first-class cricket on offer.
Club Memberships will on sale from 9am on Thursday 29 August via the Club’s website, the Curzon Road Ticket Office, and by calling 0116 283 2128.

SALE OF THE HUNDRED FRANCHISES
Dear member
We hope that you are keeping well, as we look forward to the remainder of our cricketing summer with memories of a tremendous Test between England and the West Indies fresh in our minds.
Thank you to those of you who have taken the time to share your thoughts in relation to the future of The Hundred, via thehundred@trentbridge.co.uk – and to those of you who have read our previous updates and engaged in discussions at our members’ forums.
We are writing today to share the latest information in relation to the competition – and to invite you to hear more, and share your thoughts, at two consultation events next month.
Our most recent update outlined a proposed model for the sale of any stakes in The Hundred teams, with host venues to be given a pre-sale 51% share of the team based at their venue, and the ECB retaining the remaining 49% share in all eight teams.
After much consideration, the ECB are now poised to propose that this will be the model via which any share sales will take place. They will then co-ordinate a process to allow the sale of the stakes in the competing teams, with agencies now being engaged to market teams to potential buyers.
The intention is for any sale to be concluded ahead of the 2025 season. This would result in Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club gaining a 51% stake in Trent Rockets – which we do not currently own – and having the ability to decide whether to sell any of that stake.
Any proceeds derived from any sales, whether of stakes owned by the ECB or the host counties themselves, would be divided by a pre-agreed mechanism between host and non-host counties, and 10% would also be ringfenced to support the recreational game.
Our share of any funds generated would be reinvested into our club, but we would also like to emphasise that no part of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club is being placed on sale as part of this process.
We need to ensure that our facilities for players, match officials and support staff keep pace with required standards to protect our long-held status as a Test Match ground, and we want Trent Bridge to continue to offer a leading customer experience for members and supporters of all ages and backgrounds.
As we have shared with you previously, this is a complex topic, and we would like to make sure that members are kept up to date with the latest information and feel comfortable as we progress matters. With that in mind, should you wish to hear more about the proposed process, or share any queries, you may do so at one of the two upcoming consultation events:
- An in-person event for members on Friday 9 August, taking place during the interval of Notts Outlaws’ 50-over fixture against Gloucestershire (scheduled for 2.30pm). The event will take place in the Derek Randall Suite, and there is no need to register in advance.
- An online event on Thursday 15 August from 6pm, for which you can register to attend here. Further details and joining instructions will be sent nearer the time.
Both events will feature a presentation, and members will be given the opportunity to ask questions. To help us to address your queries in more detail, we would encourage you to submit questions in advance via thehundred@trentbridge.co.uk, and indicate which of our events you intend to attend. You will, however, also have the opportunity to ask questions on the day.
We will continue to communicate with you as we receive meaningful updates, and look forward to seeing you at one of our consultation events.
Thank you for your continued support.
Andy and Lisa

ReplyDeleteA pretty worrying reply to the Middlesex member !?
What is REALLY being discussed and formulated behind closed doors these days I wonder ?
Perhaps best we proper cricket fans don’t know!?
Is worrying. Am baffled, tbh. Is this answer really say saying non Hundred staging counties should only play that format, while that competition is taking place ? And they want that, and MC want that. Sort of madness gripping our sport. Cannot see this ending well, if so
ReplyDeleteMCC I mean.
ReplyDeleteNot MCC, but Middlesex CCC (a non-hosting county) want to play County H*ndred during the playing of the Franchise H*ndred in and beyond 2025
DeleteThanks for clarification, it all gets weirder.
ReplyDeleteOn the question of is The Hundred a success ?
Attendance wise 2023, compared to 2022 Yes
TV viewing Big No.
Profit wise, ECB. claims of a profit appear to exclude genuine costs. So seems No too.

ReplyDeleteCut and paste seems to work. Judging by 2023, likely to be months before we have this info for 2024.
ReplyDeleteGetting the forum well out the way before end of season crafty.
ReplyDelete"How was it for you ?" The old joke seems to apply after, love making,
ReplyDeleteHim "How was it for you Darling ?"
Her "How was what ?"
Email from the bridge yesterday trying to put a positive spin on next years internationals. Assume the match with Zimbabwe will be a three day one. I know we have the Ashes back in a few years but next year is really poor fare.
ReplyDeleteThought we were listed for an India Teat ? We seem to have really got the bum deal of all the Test venues. Slavishly following ECB line has not worked.
ReplyDeleteFunny thing is, with my medical condition, a smaller crowd Test Match in May will mean my return to Test cricket, God willing, after 18 years.
ReplyDeleteIt's a dreadful allocation for Trent Bridge and what this set up deserves
ReplyDeleteIt was made clear that India did not won't to return toTB as it was not suitable
ReplyDeleteFor all there requirements
Leicestershire want more members but club membership in 2025 costs £300 (early bird £240), compared with £175 in 2024. With t20 it's £350 (early bird £275) whereas £215 in 2024.
ReplyDeleteYes they will be lucky to get the improvements to the pavilion out of the way by the start of the 26 season
ReplyDeleteThis will be a very complexed project
I know people were sad regarding international fixture altercation, but India were never coming to a building site at TB
The top table have long been aware of this situation as the Indian backroom staff
Including players numbers 100+
Certain individuals at TB need to be more transparent with there memberships

ReplyDeleteWhacking increases in the Leic various Memberships . It’s almost 33% more than this season . Is it a wise move?
To be fair, the news that the pavilion works are set to start in the Autumn, and to continue into next season, might explain lack of India Test match here. Has pavilion extension etc got full planning permission now ?
ReplyDeleteSorry, just read the answer is yes.
ReplyDeleteJust a PS. The rear part of the pavilion, which is to be demolished, is described by the club as recent. It is in photographs from 20s and 30s. Anyone know the date it was built ? As the pavilion was used as a hospital in WW1 suspect it was there then, otherwise would seem to have been to small for that.
ReplyDeleteWho will renew next season if nothing changes.?
ReplyDeleteBit quiet re that question ! Just looked again at plan drawing for "new" Pavilion. Looks like an old East German prison.

ReplyDeleteReally interesting to read these comments. - on India nor returning and the membership costs.
ReplyDeleteI don’t work locally but I can tell you where I do work (Northampton and Buckinghamshire) the locals are very jealous that I get to be a member at Trent bridge. Like it or not the pricing isn’t bad compared with other places.
……and the news on Leics today seeking backing is already feeling like the thin end of the wedge…..
Jim G
I cannot imagine anyone being jealous. I would be surprised if membership passes 1000 this winter

ReplyDeleteNOTTS Members could be a problem for the Club in later years .
A bigger Membership equals a bigger problem ?!
Leics and Hamps are asking for investment in the Club - from virtually anyone really ! Yorkshire may be going the same way .
Notts might be tempted sooner than we care to think ?
LCCC members gave their approval without voting away their rights (at this point). I'm sure those Notts supporters with dual memberships (there were quite a few in 2024 for reciprocal reasons) will be able to clarify on here.
DeleteIf I read your comment correctly, you are implying that Mr Jarvis is trying to drive the LCCC membership downward so that a fewer number of members equates to a smaller problem to [his plans for] privatisation and demutualisation of the club.
81 NOT OUT
ReplyDeleteNOTTS CCC have become much more secretive over the past few years . Just think of all the information Members should have on all sorts of relevant topics - but it doesn’t escape the Pravda regime .
What are the medium and long term objectives of the Club ?
Members , given the opportunity , ask far too many awkward questions that the Club prefer not to answer. This happens all the time at the very occasional Members forums . The top table at the last lunchtime forum got pretty aggressive towards the suggestion that changes at the top were well overdue.
In top successful Companies it is often thought that 10 years is enough for top executives to stay in power . They can often get stale , run out of energy and fresh ideas . Some at Notts have been there far too long . Everyone there with a top job seems quite happy to carry on for years and years regardless of what’s happening on and off the field . I now virtually know what The Doc , P. M. And Lisa are going to say when they stand up to answer a question . They have become the untouchables no matter what happens .
If frozen why not leave renewing until next year as there's no insensitive to do so
ReplyDeleteMany counties desperate for money
ReplyDeleteMost trying every trick to get people to renew memberships before next season
Hard times ahead for all
81 NOT OUT
ReplyDeleteTimes are hard !
And going to get harder
Sir Starmer has already told us !
Pick yourself up , dust yerself
down and start all over again .
After another non event season, why would anyone want to buy a membership for 2025, unless they have nowt better to do.
ReplyDeleteThorough waste of your life watching Notts under this regime.
Pursehouse must think that the members are as misguided as she is. It's a no from me, I'm afraid.
Don't mistake undying support for the club for support of the Gang of Three regime.
DeleteIt's now a gang of 4 with chairmen now aboard the TB bus, Lisa's own nominations
ReplyDeletePreference to lead the club
Does it speak or is Lisa a ventriloquist as well?
DeleteUndying support for the club that's not ours anymore you mean?
ReplyDeleteI personally will not be going to the metro
ReplyDeleteCup final, & yes it will be the last as players are calling for it to return to lords

ReplyDeleteCricket price hikes ! A sign of the times - with many Counties struggling financially . I wonder if Notts ccc will be the only one of the eighteen Counties to “freeze” their 2025 Membership rates ?
We all know why Notts have had to do it . Looking forward to visiting the n” new” improved Pavilion - when its ready!
