County Ins and Outs 2025

20/06

Notts will shortly, hopefully, get around to announcing a temporary replacement for Kyle Verreynne, who's unavailable for the next two matches.

India's Ishan Kishan. Any details are hidden behind the Cricketers' paywall at the moment.

Hampshire have signed Indian white ball player Tilak Varma for four Championship matches

19/06

Warwickshire have signed Australian Corey Rocchiccioli for the next four Championship matches. No it's not a kind of pasta, he's an off spinner.

17/06

Warwickshire have signed the Yorkshire crowds' favourite Jordan Thompson from next season on a three year deal.

The Yorkshire County Cricket Club can confirm that Jordan Thompson will leave the Club at the end of his current contract.

The 28-year-old all-rounder will join Warwickshire in November.

Yorkshire CCC’s General Manager of Cricket Gavin Hamilton said: “Whilst it’s obviously disappointing to lose Jordan, we understand his reasons and would like to take this opportunity to wish him all of the best for the future.

“The Club would have loved to have kept him but were unable to agree contract terms.

“Jordan has put in some outstanding contributions for Yorkshire since debuting in 2018, and will continue to play a big part for the White Rose for the remainder of this season.”

    1. yes 5 seasons after they made a load of replica shirts with his name on for the 2020 season and then had to sell off cheap during 2021, 2022 and might recall them still on the shop's bargain rail in 2023. Mick Newell has become a Canadian Mountie, "he always gets his man"...

    1. We don't but Newell has gone record saying that he wants us to have stronger batting line-up right down to number 11. He still hasn't recruited an overseas bowler for the kookkaburra matches in June and July.
