  1. Feel for Will Pucovski - this concussion saga could completely wreck his cricket 🏏 career

    1. How are they funding this spending spree? Look where it took Durham the last time they waved their cheque book about.

    2. They will get quite a bit of money from the ECB for developing players for England and have a few on central contracts.

  5. I read on one of the threads the Runour that Fateh Singh will go to Worcs and Fletch to Derbys.

On Fletch, I sort of get it. Whole hearted and still able when fit to perform, and a risk of course with our fast bowling injuries and lack of chances for the second xi that he would be needed. But might be time to move on.

On Singh - if true - then he for me falls into the bracket of “not given enough chances” - same as Milnes, Evison and - in white ball - Luke Wood

    1. If we lose Fateh to Worcs, it will serve as another indictment of Moores and Newell's poor man-management skills, as with the other examples that you gave, and to the unnecessary recruitment from elsewhere of players that raren't required.

  6. The Notts signing of NZ bowler Duffy
Just shows how desperate Notts are
No better than we have in the stiffs
& a batting average of one
This is what you call scraping the barrel
& again what message does this send out to the likes of other fringe players
