A new thread brought about by news of Gloucestershire spending £3.3 m (of that H*ndred windfall) on changing facilities that may become redundant if they can engineer a ground move in the near future.

New Lights at Derby and they certainly need them.

I think Gloucestershire msn has one eye on getting a Undread franchise so they need four dressing rooms for those men’s and women’s fixtures. Wonder what Somerset will think, they may want the undread too.

Any truth in a whisper I heard that Derby ccc .are think of demolishing their existing ground and build a new one close by ?
They presumably have the 100 Ball windfall to use up ?
Money will be spent on developments at the county ground and youth development. The ground needs a shake up I must admit. But the club as no money concerns or owe money.
DeleteYes until now, Derbyshire have run a tight ship. Powercuts apart, the floodlights are one of the worst of the 17 counties with lights. More or better would certainly improve the illumination for those 7PM starts.
DeleteYes. Totally agree. Floodlights will be a priority. The pitch also. Outfield this season just awful. Notts a far bigger club but poorly run? Feel they let the game down with their voting intentions but not alone in that.
DeleteI agree.
