Rain, Friend or Foe?

With the away teams chasing down victories in London on the last day of the current round of LV= games, heavy showers are heading for the capital.

A different crop of showers are hampering Somerset's pursuit of Notts wickets at the Bridge. The very same showers have tracked their way from Derby where play has been suspended there for an hour so far.

The last afternoon leaves:

Bears needing 70 runs to beat the Champions at 'pool whilst,

Durham require 122 more runs to beat the Cockneys. - BLSP

Somerset need 7 wickets to beat Notts at the Bridge - RSP

Pears want another 160 runs with 10 wickets to beat Surrey.

Sheep require 280 more runs with 10 wickets left - play has now resumed

Hants need 92 more with 6 wickets remaining at Cardiff

Gloucester need 8 more Kent wickets at Canterbury

Tykes need a similar number of wickets at Headingley against Essex at Tea.

Close of Play

Of the above games, only the game at Liverpool ended with a positive result, Bears winning by 5 wickets. All others games were drawn.

Hants won by 2 wickets in Cardiff.
