Who's Injured Now?

All information is unconfirmed. Confirmation from official club sources is most unlikely...

25/07

Information has become quite crucial but we're still none the wiser however,

If we're borrowing Sam Wood from Leicester, then there must be a couple of  injuries:

What might be possibly happening:

Conor McKerr is out for the season

Francis Moore (who?) is gone never to return?

Rob Lord now with back injury to add to carried niggles which perhaps means those niggles will get sorted now rather than at the end of the season, meaning we won't see Rob playing again(?) in 2026

Jack Haynes quad injury but Pravda hasn't even acknowledged he's injured, allowing supporters to believe he's been struck down with Hundritis

Tom Giles coming back from an unannounced injury - timescale for return unknown as the injury hasn't been mentioned

Pennington, Stone, Tongue all have a case of Hundritis, leaving us seven seam bowlers short plus the Mohammad Ali's replacement that hasn't been replaced.

Mohammad Amir only appeared as an Outlaw because he was lined-up for the Tr*nt Rock*ts - the DoC now properly conflicted.

Others nursing Hundritis are Clarke, Patterson-White, Duckett and Moores jnr

As Sam Wood is "working with Kevin Shine" for two weeks, Notts must think that one of Stone and Pennington will miss two franchise games and become available quite soonish....

... unless there's a replacement for Ali's replacement's replacement in the offing.

Other counties seem to manage to find overseas players that are available for short term deals, why can't our DoC manage it?

Perhaps because he's conflicted (?)

Freddie McCann broken thumb, out for 6 weeks

Brett Hutton will out for at least the Surrey game with his calf injury.

Last weekend the streaming commentator let it slip that Rob Lord was "returning from injury"...

...how near that is to fitness isn't clear.

On Phil Tranter's physio table we know about Fergus O'Neill with his rib injury. Fergus isn't expected to be fit for the trip to Leicester.

Loud whispers have been heard that Conor McKerr is now also joining the Australian, after Conor picked up a possible side strain on his jaunt to the Channel Islands with Scotland A.
