Lisa's preferred package!

The ECB have announced the International venues for the next 5 seasons in England.

The package that Nottinghamshire / Trent Bridge has been awarded is CEO Lisa Pursehouse's "preferred package" and sees Test Matches at Trent Bridge most years until 2019 when the club misses-out on an Ashes Test but does regain the T20 finals day and also has 5 World Cup ODIs (teams yet to be finalised).

Lisa admits, work will have to be done to the William Clarke stand and the pavilion; but what about the need for a proper out-ground for Nottinghamshire home fixtures?

Next season will see Welbeck's Sookholme ground being used for two One Day Cup matches in July but some meaningful redevelopment needs also to happen at Lady Bay quickly, this forum would suggest, or else we will continue to suffer the same disjointed fixtures as we have over the last few years.
