4 years on from Tom's England Development Programme tour to the UAE Training Camp there is no doubt that he has come a long way. I fear, though, that he may also become another Alex Hales (yes, I do seem obsessed with Alex!!!) - he certainly is capable of extremely quick scoring but, ideally, also needs to build on his 4-day game. He is potentially an England prospect and with Chris Read as a role model and Peter as his dad / Head Coach I hope that Tom will remain grounded and not be tempted by the 'big bucks' - especially with the new 100-ball aberration on the horizon.
