This is where the August fixtures are, the height of summer and the school holidays, and where there's just one scheduled day at Trent Bridge...
...which is quite frankly perverse.
Nevermind, we can all extend our carbon footprints now that Boris is giving us our rights back and journey to the far reaches of the empire and find some field somewhere between Grantham and nowhere. Well at least nowhere near Nottingham or any serious centre of population in Nottinghamshire.

Had a red line to join, as member again, of 2 fixtures of any sort on the membership ticket for August.
ReplyDeleteBut intend to rejoin, due to very slight improvement in spread of CC fixtures ( though no weekend play in September is beyond believe, terrible for junior members, who we are supposed to be trying to attract).
But it is still touch and go for 2023, God willing re health. If CC matches go below 14, 7 at home, it will be go for sure. That is a red line that will not be compromised on. It just would cease, IMO, to be worth the money.
