  1. Loughborough match would have been First Class, but for petty ECB.

  2. Let’s hope the Hound Rd and Larwood&Voce stands are open again for these pre season games. 3 years ago, I recall watching a 50 over game in pleasant early season sunshine from the L&V which was a chronic view as the pitches are normally right towards the Parr side for these encounters. But for these practice games the view doesn’t bother me and I prefer to be warmer compared to freezing your nuts off in the ‘Fridge’ or the Pavilion as sometimes these have been the only stands open for such low key warm up games.

  3. Get that sheepskin coat and gloves at the ready. Sometimes there is snow and ice about in April! When will Notts ccc invest in heated seats and outdoor warm air blowers? One day it will come , along with a cricket ground with full retractable roof which will guarrantee a full days play regardless.

  4. I can recall a home game about 7/8 years ago in April when I believe the temperature was 6 degrees one day. Apparently, if it ever drops down to 3 degrees, Sheila Ferguson does the live stream commentary instead ?

  5. I don’t think you should mention the word beginning with S - it could be considered to be sheepist now in some quarters? Instead you should refer to it as a coat mad from the fur of an animal beginning with the word ‘S’ Please re-educate yourself Mr.Cruet

  6. Point taken.
    I dare not offend anyone.
Perhaps I need a full course of indoctrination - so I know what to say and what not to say.
The " woke " Police examine every word said in case one single word can be perceived to be an insult to someone , somewhere
