v Sussex Sharks YB40 at Hove

Joyce ton destroys Outlaws

Notts lost their third 40 over game out of four as they failed to defend a total of 290 on a Hove surface ideal for fast scoring.
Read won the toss and elected to bat on a wicket that was previously used two days before against the Netherlands. Notts were unchanged from their indifferent display against Worcester.

v Bangladesh A at Trent Bridge

Tillcock turns the tables on Bangladesh A

Wow, what an enjoyable game that was. Granted there was no pressure of semi final qualification or points to stress about but, a game where Outlaws fielded three List A debutees; George Bacon, Adam Tillcock and Tom Rowe, who as a collective bunch proved to be more than a match for Bangladesh A, just!

v Worcestershire Royals YB40 at Trent Bridge

Poor display by Outlaws

A quite woeful performance by Notts saw then comprehensively beaten by 38 runs by a severely depleted Worcestershire side.
A heavy mid-afternoon shower saw the game become a 37-over affair starting at 1645. The fallout from the Essex debacle continued as another sparse attendance of 2,605 braved a cool night.

v Northamptonshire Steelbacks YB40 at Trent Bridge

Outlaws bounce back against Northamptonshire

Notts cruised to the easiest of victories over a disappointing Northants side; the winning margin of six wickets was achieved with 46 balls unused.
Following the disappointing performance the previous Thursday the Nottingham public voted with their feet with a paltry 2,805 crowd in attendance.  Northants won the toss and elected to bat. With Ian Butler no longer available and Graeme White dropped, Steve Mullaney and Ajmal Shahzad returned. The side had a much more balanced look and crucially a shorter tail.
