Will Gidman Nottinghamshire Career 2015

c/o MAG

Not the start that anyone would have wanted or envisaged when he signed for Notts after 2014 season. Will was given time and opportunity to settle and make the step-up from Division 2 standard of play but during the rest of  the season never managed to find the form to push for a first team place again, once the coaching staff had lost patience and Gidman had been consigned to the seconds. All very unfortunate.

Luke Fletcher Nottinghamshire Career Averages including 2015

Fletch's 2015 season was badly hindered by injury and falling behind the young guns of Ball and Wood in the bowling pecking order, resulting in a loan spell with Surrey. Some serious work over the winter is a must if Luke is to elevate himself to being an almost automatic selection again.

Just the one game, but what a personal performance for the young spinner. 10 wickets in his debut game. Matt's reward, a two year contract.

Stuart Broad Nottinghamshire Career Averages including 2015

C/O MAG

2015 wasn't a success for Nottinghamshire with regard to Stuart Broad. Broady turned out for Notts on four occasions in 3 competitions and all four matches ended in defeat for the Nottinghamshire club, including the embarrassing  crushing defeat in the championship against the Champions and the shamefully infuriating "cock-up" of a defeat to Leicestershire Foxes in the T20 Blast. Stuart wasn't to blame for any oft the defeats but certainly made falling into a trap of blind complacency easier, especially in the the shortest format match.

Jake Ball Nottinghamshire Career Averages including 2015

2015 was a breakthrough season for Jake with regards to the Championship, leapfrogging both Luke Fletcher and Andy Carter in the pecking order at Trent Bridge.

Ben Hilfenhaus Nottinghamshire Career Averages 2015

For the middle part of the 2015 season, Ben showed some sterling effort at times but didn't really have the raw pace or movement to make the impact that had been expected before his arrival.
