ReplyDeleteMust be long overdue for Notts Members be admitted free to Derbyshire 4 day games - apart from if Notts are the visitors . What’s the problem with Derby ? Their ground is often virtually deserted during County games . A few Notts Members shouting banter and encouragement might liven things up a little.
With the current rocketing cost of living crisis - prices rising way above official figures- then even with the Pavilion out of bounds the Notts Membership still represents good value overall . The senior Members price is almost too cheap considering the total number of days play it entitles them to see .
What do others on here think about Notts membership value for 2025?
Welcome back 81*, Notts membership is one of the best value county cricket memberships around and has been for years, certainly better value than the Derbyshire pricing, which is the reason that they don't offer a reciprocal arrangement with us. If you are lived in west Nottingham or east Derbyshire and were a fan of championship cricket and wasn't bothered about T20, and their was a reciprocal deal, where would you buy your membership? Obviously that is why no reciprocal exists now.
DeleteIf the ECB fixed the price of all memberships and made universal reciprocals at all Championship venues, fans would still purchase memberships from THEIR county, not only for the white ball access but also because they support that county.
Notts membership is not good value at all. When you consider the full picture.
DeletePlease explain and identify which memberships you consider to be better value.
DeleteNever coming back until the 100 is scrapped. So never coming back 🤬
ReplyDelete81 NOT OUT . Let’s face it . We all know it deep down . The game of cricket is changing fast . The genie is out of the bottle and there is no way of getting it back in . Those who cannot accept the changes will probably never venture down to T B ever again .
ReplyDelete81 NOT OUT .Reading between the lines it’s now just a question of a damage limitation excercise . The game of cricket in the UK needs a big cash injection in order for all the Counties to survive . I don’t think any one disputes that .The lovers of traditional cricket will just have to fight as hard as they can to preserve the vital aspects of the game- basically it’s a matter of preserving as much of the longer form as possible .
