Australia completed their 4-0 whitewash of the Old Generals, India, the latest margin was by 298 runs.

Biggest margin has to be reserved for Zimbabwe who suffered a record for them margin of defeat against NZ in Napier.

In Abu Dhabi, Pakistan were bowled out for 214, leaving England a target of 145.

The early loss of Cook and the absence of Trott, due to illness has left them slowly edging, unconvincingly up a mountain.

Earlier it was case of Monty's Doosra Revenge as Panesar took 6/62.

Update

England crumbled to 72 all out - Boycott said it was the worst he's seen from an England team.

Certainly there is a lack of technique against the spinners evident. Conditions are alien to England's batsmen and in truth a pitch with the qualities of the ones seen so far in UAE wouldn't be allowed in England, any county would have a points penalty for producing a "sub-standard" surface like this in the LV= - this might explain the unfamiliarity with what is required to survive but not excuse; the professional set-up that England profess to have, should've prepared the likes of Morgan, Pietersen and Bell before this tour during their "little break".

Getting used to the conditions is just what England U19s are still doing now.

In their 4th 50 over match in Bangladesh, they lost to their counter-parts by 4 wickets.

England U19 168

Aneesh Kapil 48
Craig Overton 36
Sam Wood 25

Bangladesh A 169/6

Sam Wood 3/14
Brett Hutton 3/28

(Sam Kelsall kept wicket too)
