Day and Night in Abu Dhabi

137 - a captain's knock!
ENGLAND WIN
In the first of the ODIs verses Pakistan, England again made a faltering start with Shahid Afridi taking 2 wickets in two balls, castling Pietersen (14) and Trott (0). Cook and Bopara then steadied the ship before Bopara and Morgan were sunk in quick succession by Mr 23.5 Degrees.

Three more quick wickets followed for the "crooked-armed" off spinner, Kieswetter, Cook and Broad.
