Former Outlaw, Kevin O'Brien, dragged Ireland one step closer to World Cup qualification with an all round performance against Netherlands giving Ireland a 7 wicket win.

Ireland beat Namibia by 9 wickets to book a place in the T20 World Cup. 

Later, Ireland beat Afghanistan by 5 wickets - this means the Irish avoid England in the group stage of the Cup.


Mark Davies, who had a successful loan spell at Trent Bridge a few seasons ago, looks set to leave Chester le Street for Kent and Charlie Shreck. Davies is no stranger to the physio's table, being unavailable for most the 2011 season with a dodgy ankle.
