Read at a different level.


Notts have only Chris Read to thank for lasting into the 57th over of their innings. The Skipper scored 64% of the Notts total 162, 104 not out, only extras and Mullaney reached double figures. Harry Gurney, on debut, lasted 36 balls (only Mullaney 37 and Read 135 faced more) for his 6 as conditions eased for batsmen.


At the moment it appears to have been a very bad toss to have lost - 2012 toss record for Read, 0% right. Somerset 53/1 latest
