Durham clock-up some batting points and AV returns

We're into the last week or so of May and for the first time this season, the would-be title chasing Durham side have bagged multiple batting bonus points; however it was on a flat-track Taunton wicket against a weak Somerset attack!

Is this a first sign that Summer is coming?

Top score to date is former Notts man, Posh kid, Will Smith with a round ton to his name.

Durham first innings latest 353/8 (96 ov)

Will Smith 100
Michael di Venuto 96
Ben Stokes 60

Jamie Overton 2/61

Newsflash.......................................

Adam Voges is back in Old Blighty and due to play at Hove later this week.

Congratulations to Steven Mullaney who became a dad today. Mother and daughter doing well!

A spot of paternity leave to get the DoC off the hook(?).
