Since this point, we've lost in two white ball semi-finals, lost Mohammad Ali to Pakistan, had Jack Haynes injured (just returned), have Lyndon James injured with no word on the severity of his strain, lost Pocklington an Lord to season ending injuries (probably), seen Ben Slater injured but just started to make a tentative return, Ben Martindale find some level of form that ought to see him slip in as a replacement for either Slater or James and we have run Brett Hutton into the ground with a relentless schedule which considering the end result, was ambitious!

However, during the Championship hiatus we have also beaten opponents Surrey twice. Lonh may the hoo-doo remain!

Ben Martindale isn't playing for the 2s at Lady Bay (Day 2 today) whereas Farhan Ahmed is, which probably means nothing in terms of the squad for this match, as Rocketman Moores retakes the reins.
