Derby Day 2 rain T20

The derby between Outlaws and Derbyshire was called off without a ball being bowled. In reality the umpires were left with a no brainer; a wet out-field, muddy old wickets on the square, it was continually raining and to cap it off, a thunder-storm was nearing the ground. Five minutes after the game was called off there was a cloud-burst which delayed much of the crowd from leaving the ground until after the stair-rods had diminished.

So the Sheep escape Trent Bridge with a point.

Steve Garratt informs the match host of the decision.
