Tony Palladino's 7/53 set up a challenging run chase over the last day and a half for Derbyshire at Derby against Kent.
After rain disrupted proceedings on Saturday, Derbyshire looked well set on 197/2 on Sunday needing 295 but then the Cornish Giant, Charlie Shreck struck taking four wickets.
Dan Redfern then steadied the ship and is currently guiding the Sheep to an important win against one of their nearest rivals for the Division 2 title, 286/8 at lunch. After lunch, Sheep won by the 2 wicket margin.
England's Innings in the test fizzled out after KP was out LBW to the second ball of the day, 425 all out.
