Steve Finn sort yourself out or else

The MCC are gunning for the likes of Steve Finn, but in all honesty, how often do we see a bowler knock the bails off at the non-strikers end - once in a blue moon or less.............. Steve Finn sort yer sen aat!

England take the right Root

Joe Root showed maturity beyond his years to carry England over the winning line, with ease, in the second ODI today in Napier. Riding his luck at times but playing an array of shots Root topped scored with 79. Earlier James Anderson extended his record England wicket tally with another 5fer, 5/34. England reached their target 270 with 8 wickets and 14 balls to spare.

HALES AND LUMB THRASH NEW ZEALAND

England opted to relieve Samit for the deciding T20 against the Black Caps and drafted in Joe Root. Stuart Broad won the toss, again and again preferred to chase.

Root's first over came in over #11 and Ross Taylor was guilty of a  6,OUT scenario.

Good pace bowling with plenty of short stuff restricted the hosts to 139/8 but once England batted 140 looked more than 50 below par as Alex Hales and Michael Lumb did Notts proud, racing to their target with 44 deliveries unused and without losing a wicket, a new T20i record 10 wicket margin.
