Monday - Day 2 Derbyshire supporters have been tempted with their first opportunity to see Shiv Chanderpaul in their colours today as the practice play gets another re-shuffle.

Patel dominated the scoring after tea, racing to 51* out of a Notts total of 70/1

Sunday - Day 1 Shiv Chanderpaul has arrived in the UK and might bat tomorrow. Notts batting first one the first day. Reports on twitter say it's not as cold today for plaers or spectators - just a three fleece day at Derby.

A steady start for Hales and Cowan 33/0

Cowan's first Notts innings ends on 13 bowled by Clare bringing Samit to the wicket who goes first ball, strangled down the leg side - never seen that happen before!!!.

Notts lunched at 68/3 after which they lost Hales for 34 but then skipper Read and part-time skipper Mullaney joined in a partnership, both making 50s, Mullaney getting out on 54 before Notts declared on 174/5, Chris Read 54*. 49.5 ov

Sneaking in under the radar, unannounced (only mentioned on Twitter so far) and playing tomorrow in the friendly at the County Ground Derby - Ed Cowan and Samit Patel. No Lumb or Taylor but a strong line-up that also includes Andre Adams with just 4 specialist batsmen in the first day eleven.
