Grand Designs D-Day looms

With the loan approved by both Rushcliffe BC and Nottingham City Council, the project is now only waiting on a decision from Nottinghamshire County Council on 07 October.

Rushcliffe Borough Council will meet next week to decide on whether to back approved plans to loan Nottinghamshire Cricket Club £2.7M as their share to fund the next phase of Trent Bridge ground developments.


These developments include:

• A "media facility"
• A refurb of the pavilion
• An "enhancement" of the William Clarke Stand
• Development of the Lady Bay facility

Similar loans from the City and County Councils are also being sort to fund the £8.1M project which is planned to take place between 2015 and 17

Loans are to be repaid over a 20 year period.
