He's not Bitter, he's Grateful

Wonderful Wayne Noon tells the Post that he's not bitter that Peter Moores got the top job at Notts and not himself.


Surely he could see that after 14 years working with the Newell, he would be seen as a partner in the collective failure at the club. A failure that has been steaming towards the buffers of relegation for a number of years and just happened to crash into them in 2016. 

The fact that Notts offered him further employment is surprising, not that Noon believes that job to be a demotion.

Nice touch at the end Wayne, taking credit, somehow, for Alex Hales! Put that on your CV, along with cone counting out and cone collecting-in.

NB In normal life, people that are disgruntled or unhappy in their work, find new, alternative employment before handing in their notice, particularly those with a "young family" to support.
