LIONS ROAR TO VICTORY

Middlesex's Dawid Malan smashed a 93 ball ton to help carry Lions to a comfortable 9 wicket win with nearly 10 overs to spare. 

Malan's unbeaten 125 was ably supported by Ben Duckett (69) and Daniel Bell-Drummond (62*). 

Victory was made more achievable by the bowling performance of all the Lions' front-line bowlers who reduced South Africa, well set on 137-2 at nearly half-way, to be bowled out for 268. Steve Finn 3-54 (7 overs) gleaned to most rewards but Liam Dawson, 2-41 (10 overs) was the hardest to get away.
