Can anyone explain the mystery of MHA Footitt AKA "radar"? Despite having genuine pace with that slingy action was released due to constant injury problems. Then, amazingly stays fit and does well at Derby and a higher standard with Surrey. So much so, he toured with England just a few winters ago. Was genuinely expecting him to take the new cherry with Bally to form a formidable spearhead at county level. Also, allegedly took a huge pay cut to return to his native county, so full respect to him. Played a few games towards end of the season, but, didn't really do himself justice. In mitigation the wickets were slow and flat, but the Somerset attack showed you could still bowl on them.
