Stuart Broad Nottinghamshire Career Records 2008-2018

Has anyone ever before been granted a Testimonial or Benefit (by Nottinghamshire) having played so few games for Nottinghamshire?

However.....

Stuart's Testimonial in 2019 is set to raise substantial sums of cash for worthy charities.

  1. From a cricket perspective we have to say 20 wickets and 130 overs will be his contribution - just look at the stats. The testimonial is debatable but the cause worthy and whenever I have seen him at TB he was great with the kids. But lets not kid ourselves that he will be the early summer strike bowler, as there are no stats to back that up (still could happen - but shouldn't be part of any planning)

  2. His overall record for Notts is ok, albeit not exceptional for a 'so called' GREAT, when he actually plays, and he always gives his all for us. The big problem is, obviously, he doesn't play very often. This, of course, is not his fault. In the previous season to last he was able to have a run in the side and played, I think, all of the Royal London games inc. the final, where he helped to stop Surrey propelling to a monster score, along with Patto when they were both introduced into the attack. It's just a pity he doesn't get a run of games more often, to then get in bowling rhythm and show what he can do for us?
