I have real doubts that Luke Wood is a Division 1 bowler - he seems to lack any variation in delivery. Speed alone is not good enough. As for Footitt one wonders what Notts are playing at with him.
ReplyDeleteCoach Peter raving about the potential of Chapple at Lady Bay yesterday and hes only 22 or so still...back in today's real world however hes just gone at nearly tens against the Hawks but guess thats modern day T20?
ReplyDeleteI cant be sure whether to be embarrassed that our new number 11-but-still-apparently-an-all-rounder has gone on loan already, or pleased that he might be able to find some form in the way of Luke Wood and Fletch from a couple of years ago. I guess the latter - nothing ventured I suppose.
ReplyDeleteCrazy sending Samit to Glamorgan - whatever you say he's been one of our best Players and has broken many batting partnerships. Patterson-White remains a 'work in progress' and Nash and Slater are simply not performing either. Still, desperate situations call for desperate solutions!
