Academy v England Women at NSG Lady Bay on Wednesday 15 May Scorecard

Preview by Philip Measures

The Academy host England Women at Lady Bay on 15 May 2019 - no Facilities hardly though - disgraceful. When will Notts do something about the Bay?

England Women will step up their preparations for their summer of limited overs cricket by taking on the Nottinghamshire Academy at Lady Bay.

The reigning World Champions will head to the Notts Sports Club on Wednesday 15th May, with the fixture starting at 11am.

Nottinghamshire players, spinner Kirstie Gordon and all-rounder Jenny Gunn, could be in contention to turn out for the national side, who will take on the West Indies and Australia in One Day International and T20 fixtures across the rest of the summer.

They will face an Academy side which has begun the season well, with hundreds from Sol Budinger, Jake Libby and Liam Patterson-White contributing to a strong performance in the opening friendly against Lincolnshire.

Budinger’s brutal batting continued in the T20 City Cup, helping the Academy to dominate a double-header against a Nottingham City Cup XI.

Entry to the game against England Women will be free for all, but seating and toilet facilities will be limited. Please note that there are also no catering facilities available at the venue. PM
