Unfortunately the draw I did not fancy. If we can beat Worcs, (Riki and our nemesis - the county specialist Ali), I think we can win. Certainly if past records are anything to go by we should have the measure of the Tinpot Kolpakers, meanwhile last time out we beat Essex in a QF. But then sport is unpredictable so who knows. Guessing we'll be first up given Notts v Worcs is the 'trophy' match and Essex is furthest away from Birmingham to travel too for the Essex fans.
ReplyDeletePersonally, not too bothered who we get. It's about us firing again and then it doesn't matter, we win the game as far as I am concerned. More disturbing is the news that Imad Wasim may not be available. That would be quite a blow especially when we play the third game.

DeleteWorcs is the hardest draw but they also won’t fancy playing us.
