Nottinghamshire
have now without ceremony released the Second Eleven fixtures for 2020 on their website. As we
already know, sadly no Trophy this year because of The Hundred and its
side-effects. The Seconds T20 competition is planned with dates but venues
remain largely “to be confirmed” according to the Notts website.
Championship
Notts
needed nine fixtures to enter the competition and on previous lists of
fixtures, only eight featured the Green and Golds.
The
Notts website doesn’t show if fixtures are indeed SEC or “friendly” fixtures
but we have to assume that they’re SEC apart from the opening game which has
previously been listed as a “friendly”.

ReplyDeleteWill be interesting to see how many games actually go into a fourth day at this level without any weather implications. Can someone do something with the new club badge. It looks like a cross between the MCC and a Maplin yellowcoat on Hi di Hi. As commented above the stiffs fixtures certainly weren't announced with the usual overhype on Pravda(Notts Twitter)
ReplyDeleteHo di ho! I don't see a third "C".
DeleteYes, indeed. Perhaps we've dropped a C for County so we can play home games in Lincolnshire? I think a badge with Mick&Lisa on would have been better.
DeleteAssume we've all seen the super new grass wickets and heated canopy installed at palatial Lady Bay. We are now clearly committed to bringing through our own from the Academy which is a good investment. Can't wait for the day when the club spends £20 and thus dramatically improves the facilities down there also for the supporters.
ReplyDeleteWent to look at the new facility today at Lady Bay. In a word, IMPRESSIVE. A lot bigger than had anticipated. It must have cost a packet, never mind the energy costs to heat it over winter.
