    1. Club cricket can resume from this Saturday, with a limited number of spectators allowed and clubhouse bars will be able to open, subject to social distancing rules.

Guidance has been published to enable competitive grassroots team sports to resume - but each individual sport will have to submit an action plan to the government on how they will operate before they can be approved to restart.

For outdoor sports like cricket, supporters will also be allowed to attend in small numbers provided they are in groups of two households only, or no larger than six people from different households, and adhere to social distancing measures...

    2. Will be interesting to see whether audiences will also be permitted at professional sport, or only recreational level

    3. Guess you could, at a push, argue that there is an element of professional sport included in the NPL league so it is quite a landmark if it goes ahead with spectators watching ? Particularly disappointing the head coach opted for the. Notts Academy to leave this league as it would have been good to get back down to the revamped palatial Lady Bay on some Saturday afternoons. I wonder whether some newly revised Notts Academy fixtures will now also be released or whether clubs come to the conclusion there's little point for such a small window of play ?
