Somerset to Glamorgan

Ed Byrom for the rest of the season and then permanently following that.

Hampshire to Nottinghamshire

Sam Northeast, previously loaned to Yorkshire this year, will complete the season loaned to Nottinghamshire as cover for Haseeb Hameed, on England duty.

Sam Northeast released by Hampshire is playing for Nottinghamshire on a four match contract as he's now a free agent.

Surrey to Middlesex

Mark Rocky Stoneman, having signed a new deal taking him to Middlesex from next season, joins Surrey's North London rivals on loan for the remainder of this season.

Derbyshire to Sussex

prior to the permanent move at the end of the season, Fynn Hudson-Prentice will go to Hove on loan for the rest of this season.

Glamorgan to Leicestershire

Roman Walker for the rest of the season

Durham to Surrey

Cameron Steel for the rest of the season.

Varum Chopra to play this weekend's T20 matches and to play in the One Day Cup.

21/04 Middlesex to Glamorgan, a 2 weeks loan for Glamorgan old boy James Harris




18/04 Durham to Hampshire for 2 months, Cameron Steel, again for cover in the LV= Championship

  1. one match loans a bit ridiculous, Glos should have to play academy keeper if they don't have another one in squad, but I thought Lace could keep a bit - certainly has done in pre-season. The Tattersall loan is the one that seems really dodgy

    1. Worked well for Yorkshire who played 19 year old keeper Harry Duke who top scored at Old Trafford.

  2. Very good red ball signing, wonder if it is with a view for a long term deal? Guess Mull will move to open and Northeast will slot in the middle order.

  3. Has a reputation as a difficult character. No idea if that is deserved or not. Notts seem to be good at managing potentially awkward individuals and getting good performances out of them, so it may work out well.
