The Stag - an Endangered "Species"?

First Sherwood Forest lost its bear population, then its wolves. As Sherwood receded from the growing town it lost its wild boar but now there's a new threat in the county - to the stag population.

Where has the stag disappeared to from the Notts Outlaws new kits for 2022?

  1. I don't recall voting the Stag away? Surely not a decision that should be made by a (now partially) unelected committee!

Adidas' choice of design is also a bit uninspiring - pin strips or what looks to be threadbare on the green (hope they're better than that in the flesh - it would be metaphoric for the depth of squad for the 50 over competition however)

  2. You get to a certain age( shape and size) where replica shirts are probably not a good idea, so I won’t be having one

Never worry about that Fox Road - and don't forget as a bonus sounds like you will qualify for the Team Bracegirdle Eleven

  3. I could wear a traditional white shirt, sit in the pavilion behind the bowlers arm and act as an additional sight screen.

Most of us could do with shedding a pound or two as lockdown took its toll on many of us so if you'd like to squeeze yourself into the shirts worn by Joe Clarke for example, you could always dine at Restaurant Six for the first 3 months of next year ? Half of the week it's closed so these will be fasting days and with the portions size being so small from all accounts, the shedding of calories will be automatic as you face near starvation each day. There is however a small issue to address with this new diet regime. The Cost. This is guaranteeed to set you back more than any existing diet plan out there and to to sign up to this you will probably need a) a Euro millions win - unlikely or B) rob a post office - not recommended.

  5. Beginning to think Alex Hales should of robbed a post office. He’d of been in, done his time, paid his debt to society, released and back in the England team by now.

Why is it that when anyone mentions the SIX RESTAURANT everyone bursts out laughing?

    1. Don't tell me they're serving micro portions of venison at the elevated Six - that explains the lack of stags on shirts!

The axing of the stag is the only positive feature of these dreadful kits. The NCC looks classy. The pin striped tshirts are ugly and boring.

They'll be dropping the Outlaws name next- all with the aim of boosting the Rocket brand over the NCC. Mark my words, next winter the Outlaws will be gone all out of respect to bank robbers, murderers, car jackers, burglars, kidnappers and cricketers that haven't paid their tax dues, they will spin it.
