Warwickshire 2 Day Friendly at Trent Bridge Day 2

Day 2 from Trentbridge

Day 1 from Trentbridge

Evident to spectators now, there still hasn't been any word, along officials lines, that James Pipe has left the club. What is there to gain by being so secretive?

On the playing field; some nice bowling by Lyndon James, some fluid batting by Haseeb Hameed but some scratchy batting by his opening partner, Ben Slater, who be the close was finding alittle form - well done to him to working at it.

I'm sure that there's no truth in the rumour that Warwickshire have asked to be awarded points for this two day friendly, and for those points to be doubled and added to the County Championship table for this season!

Additionally, no new reprints of Wisden's have included a recalculation of Warwickshire's points tallies - with all points gathered against Notts being doubled, dating back to 1890 and that these are not available in the Edgbaston superstore. It's all just a rumour!

 Trentbridge guide

The Trentbridge webmaster has announced a squad but it seems to be a bit light on seam bowlers, with no Fletch or Len.

Ben Slater
Haseeb Hameed
Ben Duckett
Joe Clarke
Lyndon James
Steven Mullaney c
Tom Moores X
Liam Patterson-White
Calvin Harrison
Joey Evison
Zak Chappell
James Hayes

I'd expect a few other faces to appear on the field as well as this twelve.
