Lyndon James and Liam Patterson-White have been named in the County Select XI squad (ie players not likely to feature in the Vitality Blast for their counties) to face the touring New Zealanders at Chelmsford later this week.
The squad also includes former Notts players Jack Blatherwick (Lancashire) and Ben Compton (Kent). Surprisingly to Notts supporters perhaps, Compton is currently the leading run scorer nationally.
The rest of the squad:
Tom Haines (Sussex)
Nick Gubbins (Hampshire)
Ryan Patel (Surrey)
Michael Burgess (Warwickshire)
Ollie Robinson (Sussex)
Ben Gibbon (Worcestershire)
Jamie Porter (Essex)
