Blast Seat Swapping

Dear Member

If you would like to amend an existing booking for the Vitality Blast, log in to your ticketing account here

From here, you'll be able to select the checkbox next to any tickets you would like to change, and click 'change ticket' to move these to a new location within the ground. You'll also be able to secure any additional tickets you wish to purchase.

If you would like to relocate seats for both members and season ticket holders within the same transaction, kindly call our friendly ticket office team on 0115 899 0300 (Monday - Friday, 9.30am - 4.30pm), and they will gladly be of assistance.

If you are no longer able to make use of the members' seats you have reserved for a particular fixture, please contact the ticket office via questions@nottsccc.co.uk or the above telephone number, and they will be able to release your seats for others to claim or purchase.

As a member, you will be able to claim seats for any of the group stage matches right up to the day of the game, and we will ensure that a seating contingency remains in place for this purpose. However, we would advise making an early reservation in order to have your pick of the very best seats in the house.

For more information on how to claim your seats, kindly click here...

Seating for regular season domestic matchdays outside of the Vitality Blast remains unreserved, with entry gained simply by presenting your membership card.

All contact I've had with the ticket office staff has been a positive experience, but I hope this reserving of seats "experiment" fails badly and is abandoned after Friday's opener. It's all so unnecessary.

  1. I don't choose where to sit until I see where they choose where to play. V derbys I used the Bridgford stand close to the action. Other times I will prefer the Fox rd stand for the same reason. Even on a big turnout the ground is ever full so what's the point of this over complication?

  2. Feel for the staff in the ticket office on match days with all the potential hassle. Perhaps Ms. Pursestrings would like a stint in the office for herself?
I also don’t think attendances will be anywhere near as high as in recent years overall.
I think this silly unwarranted and completely unnecessary introduction will affect attendance levels coupled with so many games in close succession to each other
Suspect the 3 Friday nighters will be the most well attended
I think Jeff Moore realised the club has made a Quinton de Kock up at both cricket lovers and the recent Members Forumn but others in authority seem to be in a dream world of their own
I think we’re stuck with it for this season but I expect them to abandon the experiment realising it’s such a stupid decision
The club keep saying people were canvassed and it was a positive reaction. Like many I know zillions of people down there and I don’t know of anyone who was asked so is it a case of selective marketing by the club ?

  3. As I understand it you don't have to pre select a seat?? I was planning to ignore it. Maybe I've not read it properly. I do that sometimes when I spot that it is garbage.

  6. I AM SHOCKED !
Shocked at the amount of UNSOLD tickets for this Fridays Blast 20 match at Trent Bridge .
This morning I logged onto the Notts CCC ticket purchasing site and clicked onto the availability of tickets in the various stands .
Some stands are almost deserted !
Fox Road Stand - aprox 50% empty
Larwood and Voce - aprox 50% unsold
Smith Cooper - aprox 80% unsold
William Clarke stand - 90% unsold
This with the match only 72 hours away .
The enforced buying early ticketing system for Blast 20 matches was obviously going to be unpopular and potential spectators have voted with their feet and simply not purchased tickets . Notts were warned this would happen but they of course thought they knew best and ploughed on with the new scheme .Now they are reaping the result of their folly .- masses and masses of thousands of unsold seats .
The financial consequences for Notts will be most unwelcome . You would imagine the first home Blast match to attract 10,000- 12,000 as in past years . If due to the unwanted and cumbersome advance ticket dictat the attendance is reduced to 5,000 or 7,000 this would be a reduction in gate income to be £100,000+ . If this is repeated with other home Blast games then something is wrong and it has to be put right - and quickly .The Friday night Blast games have been sell outs in the past . So whats different this time ? Send your answers to the Notts top brass and their Head of Commercial Dept .
As has been stated many times before -
How can you expect Members and casual fans to choose where to sit ,and with whom ,many weeks in advance for 7 different dates ?
Membership had to be renewed early in order for advance seats to be selected. This was blackmail -pure and simple . And the fans did NOT like being dictated to in this manner
As was asked earlier - many fans choose where to sit dependent on which wicket is being used on the particular night .Who wants to sit in the Larwood and Voce stand when they are playing on a pitch "miles" away near the William Clarke stand .?
Notts CCC- you have scored a monumental own goal with this enforced Blast 20 ticket system .
When Members were asked to choose seats and friends and guests asked to pay many weeks ago it was highly likely that annual holiday plans and various trips out had not been arranged .So it was difficult to choose the right course of action .
Well the remedy is simple . Notts ccc. should simply admit a mistake has been made . Lets get back to the old simple system of getting to the ground early to obtain favoured seats . Move to a different seat to obtain a better view or escape yobs and bad language etc without a time consuming trip to the ticket office .
Time to act quickly Notts !
Otherwise the annual accounts may show a massive loss of income on the usually very lucrative Blast nights !?

  7. Final comment on this from me .
Yesterday I sent a similar email to the above posting to Trent Bridge- to see what their reply would be .
No answer yet of course .
If I get one it will contain the usual twaddle about Members wishes .
Lets get one thing straight .
THE NEW BLAST 20 TICKET SYSTEM WAS DESIGNED TO BENEFIT NOTTS CCC - NOT THE GREAT MAJORITY OF THEIR MEMBERS >
The result is there for all to see.

  9. Yes Foxy, just read that Telegraph piece. I think there’s 2 differing arguments here A) the ludicrous Notts reservation system and then B) the Hundred taking precedence. Is this not what the games authorities wanted to achieve hence it’s prime scheduling etc. They are denying this however but surely it will have some affect on Blast attendances? How many are going to both formats ? Suspect not that many overall most people will either follow their County side in the Blast or get sucked in to the Hundred I would say. Then we have our very own side making it more onerous to attend their own home games for some, strange, peculiar reason which seems totally unfathomable to me

  10. Its mid day 27th may and I thought i would re-check the seating availability for tonights Blast match . Make it easy to choose a stand that has spare seating . More seats have been sold in the past 48 hours but the aprox situation now is as follows
FOX ROAD STAND - roughly 50% unsold
LARWOOD AND VOCE - aprox 30% unsold
HOUND ROAD _Upper and Lower - a much better take up - 5% unsold in part of the Upper but 30/40% unsold in the Lower
SMITH COOPER - acres of unsold seats - only about 25% have been sold
WILLIAM CLARKE - 90% unsold in most parts
Rad Road upper and lower - parts of Upper are sold out .But there are aprox 50/60% unsold in parts of the Lower
LETS HOPE THAT MANY MORE REGULAR FANS MAKE A LAST MINUTE DECISION TO SUPPORT OUR LADS ? !

  11. Great analysis. And reflected the actual attendance. I’d say if anything you were generous with the Clarke and Smith Cooper tickets sold.
