Haseeb Hameed New Contract

Eventually, a new two year deal has been announced for Haseeb Hameed. Good news for Notts until Rob Key opens his eyes.

Notts are yet to announce Joe Clarke's new contract, even though it is believed to have been done months ago. Is it a T20 only deal?

Matt Carter is now the only senior player at the club left in limbo - no new contract after his old one has run out. Perhaps only warrants a T20 deal, maybe?

Duckett to open for England?

  1. “Only” 2 years. Keeps his options open. But a shorter contract than Olly Stone…….!!!

It would surprise me enormously if Carter did not get a t20 contract only. I can’t see how we would use him elsewhere.

  2. LORD MELBURY
Would have thought he merited a three year contract - especially as he looks likely to follow Mullaney as 4 day Captain
But at least he has signed.
Dont know what to make of Matt Carter . Looked pretty lethargic and unfit this season and his limited performances were pretty mediocre.

  3. Great news. All we need now is for us to have a full county series of games next season. Are you listening members of the committee????

Good news on MAGS new posting on here about the continued 14 game 4 dayers being played for at least the NEXT TWO SEASONS

  5. I've always rated Hameed even when he was totally out of form at Lancashire, mainly due to injuries so this news gets a definite thumbs up from me.
