HPR Surrey Members Consultation Meetings (plural)

with bacon rolls...

What have Notts members had so far?

An email, and the chariman and CEO have been forced into a SGM, so we've had an email about that too, but that was more of a self preservation act rather than to address what's upsetting members.

High Performance Review Update: Members Consultation Meetings

Surrey County Cricket Club will be holding two Members consultation meetings to discuss the findings and recommendations of the ECB High-Performance Review.

Members are invited to join us at The Kia Oval on either Tuesday 18th October or Tuesday 25th October.

Interim Chair Martin Eadon, CEO Steve Elworthy and Director of Cricket Alec Stewart will attend both consultations to meet with Members and hear their views.

Members are invited to join us on Tuesday 18th October in the John Major Room from 8am (8:30am start) or on Tuesday 25th October in the Pakistan Room from 5:30pm (6pm start). Both sessions will last approximately 90 minutes.

Hot drinks, Bacon Rolls and Pastries will be provided on the 18th, whilst hot drinks and nibbles will be available on the 25th.

Members can register to attend the consultations here

Members can continue to email GC@surreycricket.com in connection with this or any other matters that need to be brought to the attention of the General Committee.

  1. Sounds like they’ve got it all at the Kia thesedays. A CEO who has actually played the game and a proper Director of Cricket also.

Thats the way to treat your Members ! Nottsccc PLEASE take note . Two meetings arranged by Surrey at totally different times of the day to fit in with busy lives a lot of us have . The complimentary BACON ROLLS AND NIBBLES are a nice touch . Amazing to see the difference in treatment and understanding that the various County clubs are providing.

Ref the ill thought out Strauss proposals . I reckon the ECB have been taken aback by the backlash from the normally silent majority. The natives are revolting . Reckon there is a lot of mileage left yet in this rumpus. My normally reliable crystal ball has clouded over so the future looks up in the air .

  5. It’s a delaying tactic. It’s far too late to play the “ consulting with state holders “ card. The stupidity of the cricket authorities( of which pursehouse has been happy to Lord it over us for far to long and is culpable ) has known no bounds .im personally in no mood for benevolence or compromises over this , heads have got to roll, many of them and quickly. If any have been taken aback by the depth of feeling it further emphasis their ineptitude. Foxy
