Semi-Finals had been scrapped because of the weather; Notts and Northants advanced to the final and because of the rain a Duckworth Lewis match took place.

Notts won the toss, Captain Taylor electing to bat.

Notts scored 107/3 (18 overs), Chris Read 40

Northants' target was adjusted to 115 and Outlaws won out by 10 runs under the floodlights.

Nice scorecard from Trent Bridge - we'll have more of this innovation please!

Jordan's homecoming ends in celebration

Both Michael Lumb and Alex Hales put in good shifts with a near 100 opening partnership, a good start almost wasted by a familiar fold that was salvaged by Chris Jordan.

In a solo display, Jordan beat the West Indies in the dead rubber T20 match at Bridgetown by 5 runs.

Thank Josephs

In the decider ODI at North Sound, England put-in and interrupted by rain, posted 303/6, largely thanks to Joseph Root 107 and Joseph Buttler 99. At the top of the innings Lumby was out for 20 but Moeen Ali made 55.

West Indies made a similarly shaky start and at mid-way were 104/5.

But a strong century from Dinesh Ramdin 128, took the Windies to verge of running-in on victory before a timely Yorker from Tim Bresnan left England winners by 25 runs.

After Broad's captaincy was praised earlier during this series, clouds of doubt were thrown-up following a ball change incident by Marais Erasmus about his true suitability for the job.
