Australia beat Sri Lanka in the deciding rubber of the finals of the Commonwealth Bank ODI triangular series in Adelaide by 16 runs. Clint McKay's 5/28 swung it for the Baggy Green Caps.

Worcestershire have signed an interim Overseas player for the period before Phil Hughes' arrival at the end of May (the same time as Adam Voges' expected arrival at TB), Michael Klinger.

England retain #1 Test ranking thanks to the NZ rain which washed away the First Test between NZ and SA
