England restore some Test Pride

After a winter of not coming to terms with conditions in the Sub-Continent, England salvaged their #1 status by beating Sri Lanka in Columbo by 8 wickets.

Swanny's 6/106, helped by Samit Patel's 1/54, polished off the last of the SL order.

The early loss of  the Saffer-boys, Strauss and Trott, didn't deter England as a solid Cook (49) and a brutal Pietersen raced to the winning score of 97/2 in just 19.4 overs.
