Adams' injury leaves Carter to shoulder the attack

With Andre Adams carrying a shoulder injury, unable to bowl, Andy Carter was left to spearhead the assault of the Sussex batting.


Carter 3 and Patel 1 were the only successes as Murray Goodwin used the favourable conditions and depleted attack to find his long lost form, which he did.
