Knocked-out by the weather

(Friday) Day Four was ruined by rain that possibly denied wins for Middlesex and Sussex....................... not for the first time, the weather favours Warwickshire in 2012.

57*

It came as no surprise to anyone that ODI was almost a total washout at Cardiff today.................................... wait and see the weather on Saturday for T20 finals day, "Glastonbury eat your heart out"

Rehman v Panesar Rounds 2 and 3

Abdur Rehman 5/70 to dismiss Sussex in their first innings for 279 (a lead of 32 runs)

However Monty Panesar struck back with 6/77 and Chris Nash 3/45 as Somerset were spun out for 195, leaving Sussex with a target of 164. They were 31/0 at stumps.

At Edgbaston, Middlesex currently lead by 305 with 5 wickets left, Dawid Malan 138*, a draw looking likely there, without captains talking to each other.

There is a strong possibility that Sussex could be top after tomorrow but Rehman might have his own ideas about that or will the weather have have the final say, not for the first time at Taunton.

Durham as expected had a 20 point win over Worcestershire by 6 wickets
