Thursday
Reports on the radio suggest KP is planning to sue the ECB unless he gets his central contract back!
In the super 8 WCT20 v WI chasing 180, England were 0/2 after the first over. 68 from Alex Hales and an unbeaten 71 for Eoin Morgan got England to within 15 runs before they had run out of balls.8 economical overs  from Gayle and Badree effectively killed England off after Rampaul's first 6 balls.

Wednesday

Richard Johnson the wicketkeeper is morphing from Bear to Sheep on a 3 year deal.

The General, Paul Franks, has re-affirmed that he is adamant that he will stay at Notts, to Radio Nottingham.

Chris Tremlett is staying at the Oval too.

Monday

James Harris has decided against moving to any other county apart from Middlesex - the draw of the bright lights possibly or perhaps playing at Lord's swung it for him.

So Mick has his shopping list, the time has come to splash the cash on someone to spearhead the attack!

We watch in anticipation.

Sunday

England spinning to a defeat in the WCT20 against India - of course England only fielded Swanny and no other spinner in their wisdom. The off spinner and leg spinner both running amok 60/8 in 12 overs needing 171 ........................... #notacatschanceinhell

Harbhajan a career best 4/12 Chawla 2/13

England 80 all out Dernbach  run out 12 for the second top score

Meanwhile any county pitch that turns is docked I reckon England have left Finn and Dernbach a bit too much to do here. 60/9England 80 all out

Friday

Mick Newell was Robin Chipperfield's guest tonight on Radio Nottingham
He confirmed in all probability that James Harris won't be coming to Trent Bridge.
Top priority is a fast bowler from the following list:
Jack Brooks
Ajmal Shahzad
Saj Mahmood
Chris Jordan
Confirmed he would be interested in Hussey and Voges for next season, but might have to go for overseas bowler if he didn't sign any of the above four.
