Barbados Tour

In the last of the Barbadian warm-up games for 2013, Notts are taking on Yorkshire, again in a 2 day bowl and bat.

Day One saw Yorkshire reach 223 for the loss of 11 wickets. Graeme White 5-fer

Day Two saw Notts score 313 for the loss of more than 10 wickets, Sam Kelsall and Sam Wood having a couple of goes at he spirited bowling of Yorkshire with Plunkett, Brook and Sidebottom all having points to make. Michael Lumb, struck on the thumb, made 82 whilst Riki Wessels scored 75 as everyone got a bat for little return over a hot day at Windward CC.

The players return on Monday to a sub-zero degrees England and will need a week to acclimatise before another friendly against Derbaashire at snowy Trent Bridge.

Day two of the game at North Stars CC saw Derbyshire bat steadily, closing 293/6, Wes Durston did hit G G White for 5 sixes in one over to reach his retired out ton.

After thumping all comers in the T20 competition at the weekend, Notts take on Derbyshire in some red ball stuff.

No scores from the Notts sources but Derbyshire's twitter has had a trickle of tweets.

The captains had decided Notts would bat day one at the North Star CC ground.

Notts scored 386 all out including two declared outs, the highlight being Steven Mullaney's 101 retired out off 104 balls, 7 sixes and 7 fours.

Derby bat tomorrow
