12 Bowlers day on the field
Day 2 v Hampshire
12 Nottinghamshire bowlers turned their arm over as Hampshire amassed 309/9 in their 90 overs, 7 batsmen being used, four having two bites at the cherry.
Hampshire view
Captain Jimmy Adams hit 97 in a productive workout for the Hampshire batsmen on day two of the friendly against Nottinghamshire at Isolation Cavaliers CC.
Hants reached 309-9 at stumps on the final day and making full use of the friendly, Hants only used seven batsmen with four players batting twice.
Sean Ervine and Adam Wheater both had initially top-scored for Hampshire after being dismissed on 36 whilst James Vince looked untroubled hitting 30 before he fell to young spinner Matthew Carter.
With the top seven falling inside 48 overs, Hampshire decided to send some of their batsmen in again.
And it was an impressive unbeaten knock of 97 from Adams at the second attempt which was the stand-out performances for Hants, with only time in the day stopping him from reaching his first century of the year.
Hampshire face Warwickshire in a two-day friendly at Winward Cricket Club, starting on Friday (20th March) to end the Barbados pre-season tour.
