James Taylor Nottinghamshire Career Averages including 2015

c/o MAG

Started 2015 with a familiar problem, shuffling across the line and being out LBW. Taylor still has this flaw particularly early in his innings BUT, coaching mid-season did help and confidence grew and James' season blossomed. The highlight being his mammoth score at Horsham.

England should have given Titch the call-up earlier than they did in 2015 and it remains a mystery why they have persisted with clanger-dropping Ian Bell in the 1st Test in UAE (written before Bell has batted).

  1. Trevor Bayliss has hinted that Titch might be included in the 3rd Test starting XI - for whom the Bell tolls.......
